Losing your best friend…
The loss of a companion animal can be devastating. Words usually cannot express the pain we feel when one of our loved ones passes on. Just knowing you have someone in your life that understands the bond you share with an animal can help during the grieving process.
We have found some beautiful and unique items to help console someone on their loss.
We want to stay connected to that wonderful soul that has gone ahead of us—let these Pet Prayer Flags be that connection.
Tibetans believe the prayers of these flags become a permanent part of the universe as the images fade from exposure to the elements and the wind blows through them. Just as life moves on and is replaced by new life, our own healing can begin, our hearts can mend and find room to love another four legged friend.
When we send our feelings on the wind we trust nature to turn our memories from sadness to gratitude for having loved and been loved so unconditionally.
This sympathy card is a warm and personal way to acknowledge the passing of a pet. Attached to the back of each card is a packet of Forget-Me-Not seeds that can be planted to remember a four-legged friend.
The poem inside reads, “Your friend has gone ahead, And nothing is the same, Leaving paw prints on your heart That will always remain.”
If you have another animal in the home when one passes, this animal can experience the same grief over the loss as you do. In these cases we highly recommend the flower essence for Depression/Grieving.
We’d love to hear how you honor the loss of a beloved companion and if someone gifted you with words or an object that helped you in your time of sorrow.
Have a pawsitively great week!
