Every February the Whole Dog Journal publishes their 2011 Dry Dog Food Review, and well, it’s our bible.
We immediately stuck our noses inside to find there isn’t a dry food on our shelves that isn’t included on the list!
Along with the list of this year’s approved dry dog foods they’ll explain what criteria you should use when selecting a food for your dog. Some of these criteria range from price, ingredients, a manufactures’ past history and the size of the manufacturer. They have a new criterion this year that the company discloses the name and location of its manufacturers.

Our biggest need is gas cards for our spay/neuter transport volunteers. We seem to always need litter and we always take used carriers, traps, and kennels that we use for our spay/neuter colony projects. Smaller things that people can easily bring are paper plates, paper towel, bleach, and laundry detergent. But honestly, we are beyond thankful for anything at all!
