Chronic Hairballs?

What do diet, pumpkin, and digestive enzymes have to do with hairballs?

If your fluffy Furball has lots of hairballs, check out this great article by Dr. Becker.  If “There are few things more gag-inducing than encountering a gooey, furry hairball. In the dark. With your bare feet…” sounds like the story of your life then reading the remainder of this article is a must :)

Start Your Puppy Off Right…with Raw!

Dogs Naturally Magazine posted a great article on transitioning your puppy onto a raw food diet. The article is geared more toward people who are making their own dog’s food; but we have freezers full of raw diets that have taken the “science” out of it to formulate a balanced raw diet for your pet!

Two of the brands we carry even use HPP processing (high pressure pasturization) to eleminate some people’s fears about feeding raw.

Check out their article: Starting Your Puppy on a Raw Diet. Or, stop in to chat with one of our staff about the benefits of feeding your pet raw!

My name is Charlie and I am a 4 yr old Labrador Retriever/Coonhound mix looking for a home that will love me for the great dog I am. I am a sweet boy and would love some older kids that would play with me and help me expend some of my energy.

I DO NOT like cats and would prefer to be an only dog :)  I am smart and affectionate and ready to go home!  I can get a little protective of my food, but the staff here at HAWS is working with me and I promise to try to get better at that. I am a very handsome boy so please come see me!

Train your Best Friend @ HAWS who offers classes for puppies through adults. HAWS dogs get a special discount but all dogs are welcome.  Call 262-542-8851 ex 114 or email training@hawspets.org.
