Venetian Festival is going on right now in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. While you're there, make sure you stop by and say hi to the folks from Lakeland Animal Shelter and have lunch with them, too!
Some of the organizations that continue to benefit from the proceeds derived from Venetian Festivals are:
The Lake Geneva Police Dept., The Lake Geneva Fire Dept., Lake Geneva YMCA, Badger High School Scholarships, Cub Scouts, United Way, and Big Brother's Big Sisters, Beat the Heat, VIP Services, Special Olympics Dream Team, WC Food Pantry, Lake Geneva Food Pantry, SIMPLE, Head Start, Lake Geneva Street Dept., just to name a few.
The event draws over 50,000 people throughout the five day festival, nearly 5 times the population of Lake Geneva. Visitors from all over the US attend regularly.

Upcoming HAWS Events
This Saturday, August 17th, join HAWS for two different awesome events!
Get your whole pack together and head to the 4th Annual Ride For Rover . Register online or same-day at Hal's Harley-Davidson in New Berlin where the ride takes place starting at 8:30am. The ride ends at 4pm.
And from 9am-4pm, join HAWS at their 6th Annual Pet Fair in Menominee Falls. It takes place at the Meno Falls Rotary Park on Fond du Lac Avenue. Hope to see you there!
Party for the Pooches!
The Wisconsin Akita & Friends Rescue is hosting a Party for the Pooches!
This summer fundraiser is Saturday, August 24th from 2pm to midnight at the River House Pub & Grill in Waterford.
Live music, raffles, silent auction, and more!
