Beau from HAWS is featured here this week.
Hi, I am Beau and what a handsome boy I am!! I am just a young man...only 1 yr old, so I have a LOT of energy and am eager to learn all you have to teach me. I tend to be somewhat undisciplined, but that is easily fixed with consistent training--maybe some dog classes at HAWS. I do very well with positive direction so I am a clean slate waiting for you!!
Kids are fine but you need to understand that I am young and strong, so I can easily knock kids over. Cats are OK (I was kinda scared of the one here at HAWS) and another happy energetic dog would be so much fun for me. Please come see what a great dog I am!
Train your Best Friend @ HAWS who offers classes for puppies through adults. HAWS dogs get a special discount but all dogs are welcome. Call 262-542-8851 ex 114 or email email@example.com.
Why Supervising Dogs and Kids Doesn't Work
This sounds contrary to everything we hear; however, if it worked so well, why are so many children bitten by family pets each year?
Robin Bennett, Certified Pet Dog Trainer, has some insight into this frequently misunderstood phenomenon. Check out her article, "Why Supervising Dogs and Kids Doesn't Work" to hear how you can improve your supervision skills by learning what you should be watching for when it comes to your kids and your pets.
