Helping Your Pet's Allergies

Ever heard of food energetics?  Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)--which has been used successfully for thousands of years on people and animals--uses food energetics to help diagnose and treat medical conditions, including allergies.

This article (link below) gives you a primer on understanding some basics of TCM and how to determine the foods you should (or shouldn't!) be feeding your pet.  It's fascinating, and the best part is that food energetics helps you treat the problem at its source, which gives your pet the best chance for continuing to feel her best!

Ray is a 2-year-old Dachshund mix. He is very sweet and cuddly. Ray was transferred here from another shelter in Alabama. Unfortunately he has heartworm; but luckily for him it has been treated. It can take up to 6 months after treatment for the heartworms to be gone. Due to this, Ray would be fostered by his family until he would test negative for heartworm. Once he is negative, he could officially be adopted!

Crumbelina is almost 2 years old. She is a very sweet and loving little girl. She has lived with other cats in the past. If you stop in to meet Crumbelina you will notice she does not have a tail. We are unsure of what happened, but it does not seems to cause her any pain or interfere with normal cat activities.
