On or Off-Leash? What You Need to Know
It’s such a pleasure to see our canine friends run free, wind in their fur, getting health-promoting exercise and enjoying themselves. Yet there are many considerations to make when choosing to let your dog off leash, and Dr. Becker has compiled an excellent article discussing many facets of this subject!
If you need to securely leash your dog but want him to enjoy a little freedom, End of the Leash carries long lines up to 30 feet. (Please note: a long line is NOT the same as a retractable leash. We do NOT carry retractable leashes—see our blog post Why You Shouldn’t Use Retractable Leashes.)
New Himalayan dog treat flavors
EOTL now has Himalayan Pet Supply’s Himalayan Dog Chews in 3 new flavors—Chicken, Bacon, or Peanut Butter. Stop in and grab your pooch’s fave dog chew in a yummy new flavor!
We also carry NEW Large size Happy Teeth chews in Cheese, Bacon, or Peanut Butter!
Mark your calendar—Alaskan Malamute Weight Pull
It’s hard to believe it’s that time of year already! Coming up soon on Sunday, October 20th, End of the Leash Mukwonago will be hosting the Alaskan Malamute Club of Wisconsin’s annual Weight Pull!
Join us in the End of the Leash Mukwonago parking lot from 9:30am-3pm.
Weigh-ins are from 9:30-10:30am. The actual weight pull will begin at 11am and finish when the dogs are done.
This is a family-friendly event, so bring the kiddos and your lawn chairs and watch these hard working dogs doing what they love!
HAWS PET OF THE WEEK
To learn more about how to adopt through HAWS, please visit their adoption page. You may also give them a call at 262.542.8851.
Christopher is a plump (albeit adorable) six year old, domestic short hair cat. He is what we call a tuxedo cat, meaning he's well dressed for any occasion! He is friendly, sweet and thrives on human attention. This gentle soul lives in our large cat colony room, so he gets along with others of his kind and would most likely be OK with a canine friend too. Since there is a little more of him to love, his adopters will need to commit to helping him shed a bit of his excess. Please pop over to HAWS and see if Christopher is right for you!
We’re so glad you stopped by our blog :)
