Here’s more info on Pet Releaf’s Hemp Oil 700:

About Pet Releaf

At Pet Releaf, we control our entire manufacturing process, from seed to sale, from plant to pet. 100% of Pet Releaf’s hemp is grown at our joint-venture hemp farm located in eastern Colorado. It is the largest Certified USDA Organic hemp farm in the United States and we’re the only pet company they work with! We plant and harvest a specialized proprietary strain of hemp, PR-33, grown specifically with pets in mind. Since we extract a Full Spectrum Hemp Oil, Pet Releaf Hemp Oil 700 provides your pet with the multitude of health benefits associated with CBD while also providing the additional medicinal benefits associated with the over 100 other cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids found within PR-33.

The Pet Releaf Difference

Pet Releaf only uses certified organic CBD from the whole hemp plant – not the marijuana plant. By having our own proprietary hemp strain just for pets, using CO2 extraction methods and consistently testing through 3rd party laboratories for potency and efficacy, Pet Releaf has become the #1 trusted CBD brand in the pet world.

Ready for flea and tick season?

At EOTL, we strongly encourage the use of natural flea and tick prevention, and this article by Dr. Becker goes into detail on how flea/tick products containing isoxazoline, have the potential to cause neurologic symptoms in dogs and cats, including muscle tremors, loss of muscle control and seizures. Other ingredients such as metaflumizone, amitraz, fipronil and tetrachlorvinphos also are very toxic insecticides, and the article talks about the history of usage of these chemicals.

One brand of flea and tick product on our shelves we love is Alzoo, made in France. We carry Spot-On for both dogs and cats, and Natural Repellent Collars for dogs. We love that not only are they safe for pets, but people, too!

Did you know that for some flea and tick products, your pet has to be bitten first?  After feasting on your pet's chemical-treated blood, pests die.  In contrast to conventional pet collars and spot-ons, ALZOO repels pests.  Laboratory tests show how the Active Ingredient repellents both reduce the incidence and severity of bites.

On their FAQ, Alzoo talks about why they create natural flea and tick products:

Main reason : Flea collars containing organophosphates are dangerous for both humans health, especially children health, as well as pets health. That is why, the French National Agency of Veterinary Medicine decided to withdraw the permit for sale of Diazinon, Propoxur and TCVP based collars, that are still widely commercialized in America. More recently, US EPA decided to ban Propoxur-based collars.

Indeed, while adults or children are petting your animal, insecticides are absorbed through the skin and may harm the nervous sytem. It is the same for pets.

Thus, we have developed natural repellent products to take care of people and animals' health.

Mittens is a light orange Tabby cat who is two years old. He is a reserved fellow who has been at HAWS since January. He is a friendly cat but is not (typically) the sort to seek you out. This gentle cat prefers to climb up to a place where he can nap and survey his kingdom. He thoroughly enjoys chin scratches and being brushed. Mittens lives in our large colony room; so he does well with other cats. Do you have room in your heart for a calm, sweet feline? If you thought "Yes", come visit and fall in love with Marvelous Mister Mittens.
