Mims is a one-year old male chinchilla. He is a rodent, who is most active at dusk and dawn ("crepuscular"). In the wild, chinchillas are found in the Andes mountains, an arid climate. When you keep them as pets this means it's important that they have plenty of space to move around and do not get overheated. Mims is no exception; he is active, curious and playful. His teeth will grow throughout his life so it's essential that he has ample things to chew on to wear them down. Chinchillas are soft and affectionate but are not generally cuddly, as some other pets can be. However, their antics will keep you entertained. Mighty Mister Mims is ready to put on a show for you. Visit him at HAWS today!
