The symptoms of asthma in cats can easily be confused with other noises a cat may make, including the sound of throwing up a hairball. This and other symptoms can be aggravated by things such as dusty and/or scented kitty litter, household cleaners, air fresheners, smoke, pollen, mold/mildew, and even certain foods.

Dr. Karen Becker has written a fantastic article to help you wade through the signs, symptoms, treatments, and what you can do at home to help your kitty breathe easier!
