Top 4 Easter Hazards for Your Pet
The excitement of the Easter holiday may include a few items that can be quite hazardous to our animal companions!
Keep in mind especially these 4 things:
- Chocolate. The darker it is, the more poisonous it is to our pets.
- Plastic Easter grass. Keep this out of pets' reach to avoid gastrointestinal distress.
- Plants. Lilies especially are extremely toxic to cats.
- Fertilizers/herbicides. Store locked away, and keep pets inside while applying.
These reminders are courtesy of the ASPCA (Top Four Easter Hazards for Pets).
