Plan Ahead for Success!

Your dog won’t swamp your vacation if you’ve done plenty of prep work closer to home. Well before the trip, practice and reinforce any skills she’ll need to display, such as staying in her designated spot in the canoe. (Photo and caption courtesy of The Whole Dog Journal .)

This Week's Adoptables from HAWS

The lucky family that adopts one of the pets featured here on our blog will receive a coupon from HAWS good for a “congratulations” gift bag from End of the Leash!

To learn more about how to adopt through HAWS, please visit their adoption page.  You may also give them a call at 262.542.8851.

Candy is a lovely, young, New Zealand White rabbit. She is a former stray, found outside and alone.  As Candy has grown up, her personality has also blossomed. She is as sweet as her name, and recently has become a TV star!  House rabbits can make wonderful pets, but, like any addition to your family, you need to be prepared. That's why HAWS and the Wisconsin Chapter of the House Rabbit Society hold our annual Bunny Day! And as luck would have it, Bunny Day is coming soon!  Check out www.hawspets.org for details.

Speaking of TV stars, Morris is also very famous.  He was a security guard on The Morning Blend this past week and really stole the show.  Morris is a laid back male adult that just loves to snuggle on your lap.  He would lie there all day if he could.  If you are looking for a snuggly companion, Morris is the cat for you!
