Raindrop Technique Seminar – Wednesday, December 7th

Thank you to everyone that attended our “Essential Oils Are Essential” Seminar! It was very successful with 25 people in attendance all learning about the healing power of oils. Here’s to many germ-free homes for the holidays and happy and healthy families!

Susie Bower, owner of End of the Leash, will present our next seminar on using therapeutic grade essential oils in the Raindrop Technique on Wednesday, December 7th from 6pm-7pm.

The technique will be demonstrated on a dog & cat.  Humans, cats, dogs, horses & birds all benefit from the amazing powers of therapeutic grade oils.  There may be a benefit for almost every condition within the Raindrop Technique.

Please call the store to register at 262-363-3338 or register online by going to the Contact Us section. The non-refundable fee for this seminar is $30.00 and reservations are required as there is limited space available.

Melissa Shelton DVM – Raindrop Technique

I am sure the thought has crossed your mind if you are new to Essential Oils – “Just what IS a Raindrop?” And, if you are already experienced in this human application of oils – you have probably wondered – “How in the world would I do this to my dog?” To me, the Raindrop Technique is one of the most powerful and helpful, broad spectrum application of oils. When in doubt, I will reach for a Raindrop Technique as a first line application for my patients. It is highly beneficial in many areas, due to the high number and variety of oils being applied.

Basically, there may be a benefit for almost every condition within the Raindrop Technique.

A Raindrop Technique is a special way of applying several (often 8-9) different oils topically over the spinal area. This technique was created by the founder of Young Living, Gary Young. The technique he created combined the therapeutic use of essential oils with several ancient modalities; from Native American rituals to Tibetan Reflexology.

In the application, the chosen oils are dripped from tail to head, from a distance of about 3-6 inches from the spine. Combined with specialized strokes and reflexology techniques (called VitaFlex), Raindrop Technique can be a powerful tool that anyone can use.

Molly’s 1st Birthday

Join us this Thursday, November 10th to celebrate Molly’s 1st birthday!

Our Historic Location

Happy 100th Birthday Harold!

Here’s a blast from the past: our location is mentioned in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel article about Harold Koeffler’s 100th birthday.

Click on the photo to see a larger version.

It’s one thing to celebrate a 100th birthday, but to celebrate with an industry giant that has been one’s livelihood for a good part of that century is a rare occurrence. Yet when friends and acquaintances gather at Horter Chevrolet from 2 to 4 p.m. Nov. 3 to celebrate Harold Koeffler’s centennial birthday, the celebration happens to falls on Chevrolet’s 100th anniversary.

Although the Koeffler Chevrolet sign no longer hangs outside the dealership Koeffler bought from his brother in 1949, a sign that hung outside the business in its early days does hang in the showroom of the dealership - now Horter Chevrolet. First located where Citizens Bank now sits on Highway 83, the dealership later moved down the street where End of the Leash is currently housed.” Read more…

Don’t forget to stop in Thursday and wish Molly a happy 1st birthday!
